International Manufacturing Forum Series

The IMFS is a virtual conference series , held on the first Thursday of each month of the year. The series will start in 2021. Each Virtual Conference will last one day and will be focused on a specific topic which is within the rather broad manufacturing umbrella. The Chair of the Series is Professor Geoffrey Mitchell, Vice-Director of CDRSP of the Polytechnic of Leiria.
Each Meeting will held via ZOOM. Each speaker will be invited for a trial session before the Meeting to ensure that it runs smoothly. Each speaker will be asked to provide a video if there are network problems which prevent the speaker from presenting their work. Access to the conference series will be available to registered participants, there is no conference fee.
All keynote speakers and selected participants will be asked to prepare a manuscript post meeting book or collated for one special issue.

The International Manufacturing Forum Series Chairs are Geoffrey Mitchell. For each conference day there are 3 Keynote Lectures and 12 Contributed Lectures.
So the IMF Series will offer 36 keynote lectures and 144 contributed lectures Once the conference series has been announced , abstracts will be invited from potential contributors. These will be accepted if appropriate as they arrive.
A standing scientific committee of the Series Chairs and each session chair will review the abstracts.
